A reverse logistics model for waste management

We accompanied the Moisés Bertoni Foundation in the design and implementation of “My Waste-Free Neighborhood” (MBSR), a multisectoral project that seeks to transform the way in which waste is managed in Asunción and its metropolitan area.

The main objective of this platform is to promote the recovery of recyclable materials in homes and businesses as well as to strengthen recycling chains at the national level.

Actors Involved

The MBSR model has as its foundational pillar the creation of strategic alliances between actors in the public and private sectors, international organizations and civil society. MBSR was made possible by the joint work of companies such as:
